Minimum Qualifications

Must be Level I EMS Instructor as defined in the rules of the NC Medical Care Commission. Must be an American Heart Association BLS Provider Instructor.  Must possess an Associate's degree in EMS or other health science-related field.  2-3 years teaching/field experience, required.
 

Preferred Qualifications

Level II EMS Instructor as defined in the rules of the NC Medical Care Commission and Bachelor's degree or higher in a health science-related field, preferred.

Position Description

Responsible for overall instructional planning and coordination within the Continuing Education Emergency Medical Technician Programs as well as instructing EMS courses and evaluating students.  Provide classroom and clinical instruction for various subjects in the field of EMS; participate in overall program evaluation to maintain compliance with the NC Office of Emergency Medical Science and accrediting bodies; maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress; actively participate in Division meetings; and participate in budget planning, preparation and execution.

Salary:  $3,120.00 per month.

Start Date:  April 17, 2023.

Closing Date:  March 19, 2023, or open until filled.
