Position Description

The College and Career Readiness Educational Coordinator is responsible to the Director, College and Career Readiness (CCR) Program and Academic Studies Center (ASC) in the planning, programming, instruction, evaluation of courses, and student retention in College and Career Readiness.  Duties include ensuring quality programming in all CCR classes, including transitions; providing opportunities for student success and retention; providing supervision and support for all seated instructional programs and classes; maintaining an internal and external customer service focus; providing appropriate instructional services to meet the service areas' needs; leading the planning, supervision, and evaluation of courses; overseeing course curriculum including the application of the core curriculum by discipline; assisting with all operations of professional development:  registration, scheduling, production of materials, and facilities use; designing and delivering consistent and relevant staff development training; assisting in the coordination and administration of NRS approved assessments for the CCR program; implementing strategies to transition students to Human Resources Department, Continuing Education, and Curriculum programs and recruiting and screening part-time instructors.  This is a daytime position with occasional evenings required.

Salary:  Based on education and experience.
