Position Description
Supervise and manage the operations of the College Store, including purchasing and merchandising, to maximize sales and profits. The College Store Manager must train, instruct, schedule and direct the performance of employees and work study students. Responsible for financial operations of the College Store including receiving and verifying all deliveries; submitting invoices for payment; preparing and reviewing sales reports to analyze College Store profitability; and recommending changes and improvements as necessary. Ability to work with vendors, faculty and staff, to ensure the College Store is meeting the educational needs of students.
Salary: $2,964.00 per month.
Start Date: February 15, 2021.
Closing Date: January 31, 2021, or open until filled.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and management experience, required. Customer service, inventory, merchandising, and/or accounts payable and receivable experience, preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Supplemental Information
Standard working hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Fridays. Some evening hours required the first week of each semester.
