Bachelor's degree in a discipline relative to the program served from an accredited institution; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and one year of experience in an area related to casework or counseling; or equivalent combination of education and experience; and demonstrated communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, required.
Knowledge of WIOA policies and procedures, preferred.
Directly responsible for all facets of the Human Resources Development (HRD) program and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant management, including curriculum, methods of instruction, employment, training, and evaluation of instructional staff; maintenance of administrative records; financial management; recruitment of students; and maintenance of school plant and equipment. Supervise and administer various programs providing financial and support services to qualifying students in academic and occupational courses of study, including the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grants, the State Childcare Assistance grant, and other financial aid grants. Accurately track and report all data associated with contract obligations. Provide supervision to full and part-time staff and conduct annual evaluations. Serve as a liaison within the community and the Eastern Carolina Workforce Development area to provide program/service information.
Salary: Based on education and experience.
