Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher, required.  Must have current knowledge of the specific subjects they will be teaching, and documented background in current educational methodology concepts.  Must be a graduate of a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).  Must obtain a current North Carolina Dental Hygiene License, or a North Carolina Dental License, within 120 calendar days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

State licensed dentist or a dental assisting credential, preferred.  Prior teaching experience in a CODA-accredited institution, preferred.

Position Description

This is a 9 month position with a supplemental contractual obligation in the summer to teach curriculum classes/labs/clinicals. Fulfill responsibilities as a faculty member and full-time employee.  Must be willing to travel to clinical sites.

Salary:  $4,997.00 per month with final salary determination based upon education and experience.

Standard Working Hours: 30 hours/week on campus with office hours as needed to assist students.  

Start Date:  January 3, 2024.

Closing Date:  November 26, 2023, or open until filled.
