Minimum Qualifications

Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina or licensure in another state with eligibility to obtain a North Carolina license.  Two calendar years of full-time experience as a faculty member in a Board-approved nursing program.  Must hold a graduate degree from an accredited institution.  Candidate holding a BSN may qualify with a graduate degree in another related field.  The candidate must have at least 45 contact hours in the principles of adult education, curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation within 3 years of the start of employment.

Position Description

This is a nine (9) month position with an additional required two (2) month supplemental contract in the summer for program administration.  Coordinate and maintain a teaching schedule, as needed, for curriculum classes in nursing.  Fulfill responsibilities as a faculty member and full-time employee.

Start Date:  April 4, 2022.

Salary:  Based on education and experience.

Closing Date:  March 6, 2022, or open until filled.
