Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, required.  Teaching experience within a higher education setting, required. 

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a health-related field or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in a health-related field, preferred.  3 or more years of community college teaching experience in a health-related field, preferred.  Prior supervisory experience, preferred.  Knowledge and familiarity with accreditation policies and procedures, preferred.

Position Description

Recruit, select, supervise, lead, and evaluate the performance of the faculty and staff of the Nursing and Allied Health Division and provide leadership and management to the faculty and staff.  Ensure educational quality, support the development and adoption of new courses or curricula; schedule courses and faculty teaching assignments; prepare annual division budget recommendations; review and approve division purchase requests; collaborate with student support services; support partnerships with not only clinical sites but also community organizations; maintain compliance with accreditation standards; and adhere to all federal, state, and institutional policies or procedures.

Standard Working Hours:  This is a 40 hour per week, annual leave earning position.  Standard working hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday with some weekend and evening hours required.

Salary:  Minimum of $4,805.00 monthly with final salary determination based upon education and experience.

Start Date:  August 1, 2023.

Closing Date:  June 4, 2023, or open until filled.
