A Master's degree in Drama, or a Master's Degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Drama, required.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience, including online, preferred.
Position Description
Fulfill responsibilities as a faculty member and full-time employee in the area of drama. Primary responsibilities will be instructional, including teaching curriculum classes in Theatre Appreciation, Acting, Stagecraft, Play Production, Theatre History, Voice for Performance, Stage Make-up, and Directing. The position also directs productions by the New River Players, a collaborative theatre group which includes students and community members. Will teach a full-time curriculum schedule and coordinate with the Fine Arts Department Head and Humanities and Fine Arts Division Chair on the New River Players drama productions, including the selection of each production, budget, scheduling, and successful production completion.
Salary: Minimum of $4,710.00 per month.
Start Date: August 12, 2021.
