Minimum Qualifications
A college-level diploma in the teaching discipline with appropriate experience or a high school diploma with outstanding professional experience in welding technology required. The preferred candidate will also have five (5) of more years of welding experience and AWS Welding Inspector and Welding Educator certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft applications required. Prior teaching experience in the field, preferred.
Position Description
This is a nine (9) month position with subsequent summer contracts. Primary responsibilities include instruction and development of welding technology courses within the Welding Technology Program utilizing current industry standards and safety procedures.
Responsible for both preparing and delivering instruction to a diverse student population using not only various course delivery methods (e.g., seated, online, hybrid, etcetera) but also various course delivery lengths (e.g., 16-week, 12-week, 8-week, etcetera).
Fulfill other responsibilities and duties as a curriculum faculty member and full-time employee, to include but not limited to other duties as assigned.
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday with a minimum of thirty (30) contract/ office hours per week.

Starting Date: July 1, 2024.
Salary: Minimum monthly salary is $4,652 with final determination based upon education and experience.
