The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled building and maintenance tasks relating to the renovation, upkeep and operation of campus buildings and facilities.

Perform mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems as appropriate.  Perform routine HVAC preventative maintenance.  Operate minor equipment: vacuum pumps, recovery machines, saws, drills, grinders, etc.  Inspect buildings and mechanical room equipment for needed repairs and maintenance.

Start Date:  June 24, 2024.
Standard Working Hours:  Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $2,650.00 per month.

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid North Carolina Driver's License.  Candidate must have the ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and a 40' articulating lift.  Must possess two (2) years HVAC experience.  Must have an EPA certification.  Ability to lift 50 pounds.  Also must be able to perform electrical and basic plumbing.
