Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and completion of a Journeyman Level Powerline Technician program with three (3) years of field experience, required. 

Preferred Qualifications

Associates or advanced degree, preferred.  Must have a current Class A CDL, or the ability to obtain one.  Experience teaching, preferred.  Substation and/or transmission experience a plus but not required.

Position Description

Twelve (12) month full-time position, primarily Monday - Friday, which may involve day and some evening and weekend work providing classroom and field instruction for various subjects in the power delivery industry, including how to install and repair electrical power systems.  In conjunction with the Powerline Technician Training Supervisor, evaluate and improve program quality, stay abreast of applicable regulations applying to electrical line work such as OSHA and NESC, advise students, and complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Salary:  Based on education and experience.
