Minimum Qualifications

Associates degree, required.  Must be a graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.  Must possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).  Minimum of two (2) years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five (5) years, required.

Position Description

This is a 9 month position with a supplemental 2 month contractual obligation in the summer to teach curriculum classes/labs/clinicals in surgical technology.  Fulfill responsibilities as a faculty member and full-time employee.  Must be willing to travel to clinical sites.

This position is open until filled.  For initial consideration, applications must be completed and submitted by April 9, 2023; however, applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled.  Applications received after April 9, 2023 will not be reviewed if a candidate is selected from those meeting the initial closing deadline.

Salary:  Based on education and experience.

Start Date:  May 16, 2023.
