Responsible for operation of the College's switchboard by referring or transferring calls to appropriate stations, dispatching calls by two-way radio, and maintaining campus communications.  Assist in processing calls pertaining to maintenance, custodial, and security needs.  Record messages, make contacts, and receive visitors.  Provide general clerical support for departments under the supervision of Physical Plant, including the preparation of check requests and purchase requisitions, as needed.  Hours:  7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Salary:  $2,600.00 per month.

Start Date:  February 1, 2023.

Closing Date:  January 22, 2023, or open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and strong communication and typing skills, required.  Minimum of six (6) months receptionist/switchboard operator/clerical experience and familiarity with Coastal Carolina Community College, preferred.
