Position Description
Develop and maintain collaborations and connections that serve to better prepare transitioning service members and high school students for post-secondary workforce training opportunities. Assist with the marking of Workforce Continuing Education programs across multiple disciplines in order to raise awareness of workforce training opportunities and transition programs for military personnel and Onslow County high school students.
Salary: Based on education and experience.
Start Date: June 21, 2021.
Closing Date: May 30, 2021, or open until filled.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, required. Familiarity with U.S. military structure, regulations, and existing transition service programs sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Labor, Veteran's Administration, and other compatible public and private services. Written and oral communication skills, necessary. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. A bachelor's degree in public relations, business administration, or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in marketing and student recruitment programs, preferred.
