Minimum Qualifications
Requires minimum of Bachelor’s degree in higher education or related field; minimum three years’ experience as a mentor, special education, social work, or counseling in community college or public school setting; excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.

Position Description
Collect and monitor data to meet objectives; plan, manage, recruit and provide instruction as needed; provide oversight of developing various service learning appropriate First Year Experience programs-mentoring, Summer Bridge Academy, service learning and first year seminars and workshops; outreach, recruit, and coordinate opportunities with at-risk students to increase engagement; advising of career and college options at Bartlett Yancey and Person High Schools; assist with recruiting, scheduling, and pathway education, and determining industry needs.
