Minimum Qualifications
Industry certification as licensed electrician, plumber, general contractor or electrical line technician. Applicant needs to be physically agile. Able to walk, bend, push, pull, climb ladders, climb telephone poles with harnesses and gaffs. Must be willing and able to teach multiple skill sets associated with industry trades. Must be able to work with other instructors to complete task.
Communication, both oral and written, skills necessary. Must have expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college. On-line teaching experience. NCCER certified instructor (ICTP).

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this full-time position. Duties
Provide general classroom and clinical lab instruction both online and in a traditional setting according to the standards set by the department.
Teach face-to-face classes to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus.
Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
Assist in program recruitment.
Advise and register students who are in the program or aspire to be in the program.
Monitor and improve student retention.
Maintain class records.
Assist in the design and update of course syllabi, curriculum review, revision, and development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient laboratory environment.
Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Continually develop and improve skills through professional development.
Participate in faculty committees and other activities, as assigned.
