Minimum Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree in marketing, internet marketing, communications, and/or 1-3 years’ experience within marketing or communications
  • Ability to use social media platforms and hashtags
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Microsoft Office apps
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team effort

Preferred Qualifications

- Working with Faculty, Staff, Students @ at a fast pace Community College.

Position Description

General Function:  The Graphics Specialist supports the Director of Public Relations & Marketing to create engaging digital graphics, capture compelling photographs, record high-quality videos, update community calendars, produce captivating social media reels, update website, manage billboard campaigns, and provide insightful website and social media analytics.  

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Create visually appealing and brand-aligned digital graphics for various platforms, including social media, website, and email campaigns. 
  • Capture high-quality photographs that effectively convey the brand's message and engage the target audience. 
  • Record videos for promotional and marketing purposes, ensuring high production quality and adherence to brand guidelines. 
  • Maintain and update community calendars with relevant events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information. 
  • Create engaging and visually appealing social media reels to increase brand visibility and drive user engagement. 
  • Update the website, including content updates, page creation, and overall website maintenance. 
  • Develop and execute effective billboard campaigns, including designing eye-catching visuals, and managing display schedule. 
  • Monitor website and social media analytics to track and analyze key performance indicators, provide insightful reports, and identify opportunities for optimization and growth. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and propose innovative ideas to enhance the BCC’s marketing.
