One year of experience directly related to the position duties, must be well documented in the application packet.
Must have a valid N.C. Driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must be able to perform outdoor duties during inclement weather conditions, lift up to 100 lbs., reach with hands and arms, walk, crawl, stoop, and kneel or crouch on a day to day basis.
Vision for near and farsightedness, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus.
Must have begun or completed the Hepatitis B Immunizations

Announcement Summary
Fayetteville Technical Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Grounds Keeper position in Plant Operations. The successful applicant will perform a variety of landscape installations and grounds maintenance tasks related to the upkeep and appearance of the college grounds.
Duties
Perform a variety of turf grass maintenance activities to include edging, trimming, and new installations. Assist with irrigation and brick or concrete sidewalks. Perform litter control, recycling operations, and snow and ice removal. Perform general yard debris clean up and other related duties as assigned.
