Minimum Qualifications

  • Nationally recognized group exercise certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in fitness field (preferred )
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Experience teaching any of the following class formats: 

Kickboxing, Step, Yoga, Pilates, Ballet, Toning/Muscle, Zumba, Shag Lessons

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in fitness field (preferred )

Position Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

To provide excellent customer service and advocate for a safe and inclusive environment for all who enter into Brunswick Community College’s Dinah E. Gore Fitness & Aquatics Center.

           

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

This part-time position will be responsible for providing safe and effective group exercise classes for a diverse membership population in the BCC Fitness Center.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Nationally recognized group exercise certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in fitness field (preferred )
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Experience teaching any of the following class formats: 

Kickboxing, Step, Yoga, Pilates, Ballet, Toning/Muscle, Zumba, Shag Lessons

     

OTHER RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

  • Membership Recruiting
