Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with coursework focused in Human Resources.

•Three or more years of direct Human Resources experience involving recruitment, benefits processing, employee onboarding, training, policy and procedure development, applicant tracking systems(ATS) or other HR Information Systems (HRIS). Two years should include experience implementing and administering large scale HRIS related projects, preferably applicant 
tracking systems.

•Must also have a high level of proficiency in working with all Microsoft Office applications
•Excellent diplomacy skills and a high level of discretion.

•Ability to effectively organize and handle multiple job duties in a fast-paced office environment.

•Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience with Colleague/Banner

•NC Retirement System and State Health plan knowledge and experience

•HR experience within a college/university work environment

•SPHR or PHR certification

•Membership in CUPAHR, SHRM, and/or other related HR professional organizations

Position Description

This position is responsible for a variety of technical and confidential responsibilities to support various aspects of human resources administration, including but not limited to, benefit administration, recruitment, employee onboarding, assistance with classification and compensation reviews, compliance, reporting, training, policy and procedure development, communications, researching and compiling data. In addition, this position will provide the support and maintenance of the Human Resources Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other HR Information Systems (HRIS) implemented by HR.
