Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Human Resources. Must possess advanced MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for budget management and excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills at all levels to represent HR effectively. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task. Must be able to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism regarding HR information.
Lift and carry a minimum of 10 lbs. and set up for various functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration or related field with three years of administrative work experience.
Experience in a full-time admin support and office management role in a higher education setting.
Experience in Colleague (Ellucian) and NeoGov/NeoEd or other higher education database strongly desired.

Central Piedmont is looking for a Human Resources Office Coordinator who is customer service minded with high attention to detail to support the efforts of the Human Resources department. The minimum for the role is $41,600 and may be negotiable up to $51,288.

General Function
The Human Resources Office Coordinator supports the Associate Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer (“AVP/CHRO”) and the Human Resources department on a daily basis with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to budget management, Human Resources reporting, supply ordering, onboarding support, greeting employees at the front-desk, accommodations processing, tuition reimbursement tracking and processing, responding to incoming queries from employees, students and the public, and other administrative duties as assigned that support the department.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for administrative support and coordination of Human Resources department, while working closely with AVP/CHRO to ensure department is fully supported administratively.
2. Closely monitors and advises AVP/CHRO on budget for any issues, including regular budget updates to AVP/CHRO, tracking vendor contract status, Request for Proposal projects, and monitoring contracted services.
3. Serves as primary contact for facilities projects and building maintenance in Human Resources.
4. Acts as the primary front-desk support and greets all employees with excellent customer service when reviewing and responding to in-coming requests by phone, walk-in, and/or email, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism. May include providing detailed information requiring research and interpretation of policies, procedures, and practices.
5. Processes Human Resources forms and information, which may include manual data entry into computer system and preparation of documents and presentations for the AVP/CHRO and Human Resources.
6. Performs various administrative tasks including maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, preparing authorizations for reimbursement, arranging meetings, and typing and proofing correspondence and reports.
7. Assists and coordinates maintenance, purchasing and reporting activities for the department including coordination of ADA accommodation purchases, Human Resources website and intranet maintenance, and reporting and tracking reporting schedules.
8. Leads the coordination of special events, including but not limited to Human Resources meetings, trainings, and any other special celebrations/occasions.
9. Liaisons closely with other College administrative support personnel, ensuring each Unit’s needs are being met or anticipated from a Human Resources perspective.
10. May sit in on various meetings and committees when needed to assist with Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations matters.
11. Other duties as assigned.
