Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Office Technology, Operations Management or related fields.

Two years documented experience providing front-office customer service support and working effectively with a diverse customer population.

Ability to:
Understand and carry out written and oral instructions with indirect oversight.
Troubleshoot complex software issues.
Walk, bend, stoop, and personally carry up to 25 pounds.

Position Description

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist applicants with electronic applicant tracking system including troubleshooting applicant access problems and making necessary corrective actions to assist the potential applicant in completing his/her electronic application and supporting documents.

Prepare new hire welcome packets and assist with onboarding processes, including E-verify processes.

Update daily log of job vacancies and their ongoing status for quarterly reporting purposes.

Monitor and maintain the office supply inventory.

Greet, welcome, and assist visitors or callers to the Human Resource office and provide exceptional customer service and support in a timely manner.

Provide administrative assistance to the Vice President in support of community organization activities to include conducting post-event surveys.

Support and be cross-trained with the position of the Administrative Assistant II, to ensure continued workflows at all times.

Participate in the researching of complex problems and discrepancies in records, and transcripts and initiate corrective actions.

Explain College policies and procedures relating to the office to which it is assigned to College staff, students and/or the general public.

Review and evaluate completeness of files and records; request information as needed.

Respond to difficult requests for information and act as liaison to other College departments and divisions.

Perform special projects and other assignments as needed.

Compose and type routine office correspondence, memoranda, and statistical reports.

Perform related duties as assigned.
