Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Information System or Information Technology-related field, or
  • Associate degree in Computer Science/Computer Information System or Information Technology-related field from an accredited institution with 2 years of experience in information technology.
  • Substantial experience with Ellucian’s Colleague system, or other ERP system is strongly preferred but not required.

Position Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the College Information System (CIS), including database management, application updates and security, related online services and third-party software applications.
  • Install, operate, maintain, and upgrade CIS-related virtual machines in cloud environment.
  • Manage peripheral CIS-related software.
  • Troubleshoot problems with system software and implement resolutions. Monitor systems for performance, stability, and security.
  • Research, implement, and maintain data backup solutions as assigned.
  • Maintain, operate, and upgrade the College’s digital form and filing system.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to the College’s staff, faculty, and students as requested through help desk tickets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
