Minimum Qualifications
Requires Associate Degree in IT field with certifications in A+, Network+, Security+.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; specialized certificates in information technology, including, but not limited to, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, PenTest+, CISSP, CCNA, or Microsoft Technology Associate; proficiency in computer programming language, networking concepts; at least three years related work experience also preferred.
Position Description
Develop, manage, and train programs for Information Technology that incorporates industry-recognized credentials; teach online and face-to-face in subject matters, but not limited to, hardware/software support, cyber security/crime, virtual and cloud concepts; provide quality instruction while preparing students to successfully pass certification exams; work with departmental staff in recruiting students; perform variety of other related duties; be flexible to a changing environment and maintain required documentation; and head the IT Advisory Committee for IT program.
