Minimum Qualifications

An Associate’s degree in an information technology (IT) related field is required.  All post-secondary credentials must be from regionally accredited institutions.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; be proficient with computer software; be a self-starter; a team player; and possess the ability to work well with others.  

 

Preferred Qualifications

Practical work experience in the IT industry, teaching experience, and bilingual are preferred.

Position Description

The instructor is responsible for teaching and proactively staying current in any IT area which may include but not be limited to artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data analytics, database management, database reporting, software development, and web technologies.  Duties include teaching courses online and possibly traditional seated classes; designing and implementing learning strategies for students; developing course content and instructional materials when warranted; maintaining instructional records; submitting reports in a timely manner; and developing and evaluating course and program learning outcomes.
