Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this full-time position to support and assist with non-instructional duties and tasks related to the laboratory portion of the AC, Heating & Refrigeration Technology program. Qualified candidates will possess excellent computer skills, demonstrate evidence of flexible work experiences and a willingness to change; be open-minded, fair, and possess the ability to see multiple perspectives; be willing to take and manage risks and accept responsibility for professional and personal growth.

Duties

Provide preventive and basic maintenance to laboratory tools and equipment.

Assist instructional staff and faculty with preparation for demonstrations; set up laboratory facility and prepare necessary materials and equipment.

Provide general information and assistance to students on equipment operation, use and location of materials, and safety procedures.

Monitor students success with hands-on skills.

Monitor students involved in instructional laboratory work assignments; enforce laboratory policies and procedures.

Maintain inventory and security of tools, supplies, and equipment.

Assist in the ordering and maintenance of supply and material inventories; maintain equipment and supply usage records.

Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of laboratory facilities; return unused materials to storage.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
