Minimum Qualifications
Requirements
Associate's degree in Architectural Technology
Three (3) years of work experience in the Architectural field
Computer skills using basic functions of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and Outlook
Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Sketchup and Revit or equivalent Architectural Design and technical software.
Proficiency with Adobe Suite Software, specifically Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design and Adobe Illustrator.
Proficient Hand Drawing, Drafting and Sketching skills. Experience in 2-dimensional and 3-Dimensional drawing representation including proficiency with rendering.
Portfolios must be made available upon request.
Unofficial transcripts must be uploaded with application or submitted to HR prior to consideration for an interview.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Landscape Architecture or Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
Licensed/ Registered Architect, Landscape Architect or Licensed Professional Engineer
Architect, Architectural Designer, Landscape Architect, Landscape Designer or Engineer
Five (5) years of professional practice
Two (2) years of teaching experience.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing effective instruction for assigned courses.
Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)

*Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner
*Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance
*Prepares thoroughly for each instructional hour
*Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment
*Grades and returns student work in a timely manner
*Counsels students regarding their grades and progress in the course
Constructs classroom materials that support the goals of the course
Designs curriculum and a schedule of instruction
Maintains regular office hours
Stays abreast of most current teaching methods and technology in the classroom
Uses assessment techniques to improve student learning outcomes and teaching methods
Serves on college or department committees as needed
Attends professional development opportunities when possible
Assists with establishing goals and objectives for the course, selecting text and constructing a syllabus
Maintains communication with instructors from other divisions in order to keep courses up-to-date and appropriate
Participates in graduation exercises

Able to use a wide variety of teaching methods to promote learning
