Minimum Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or related area; ability to obtain and maintain NC Department of Public Safety (prisons) security clearance;
Preferred Qualifications
prefer two years’ experience teaching adult learners in a correctional facility; prefer Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBI), job readiness, basic computer operations, money management, and community resources training.
Position Description
Provide comprehensive employability training program to inmate population at Caswell Correctional Center in Yanceyville, NC; responsible for teaching classes and instructing, preparing lesson plans and comprehending assessments in all areas of job search preparation and retention.
