Minimum Qualifications
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in NC for a minimum of 2 years; Diploma in Nursing, Associate Degree Nursing or Bachelor Degree Nursing is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior employment in long-term patient care as a registered nurse and experience preferred.
Position Description
The purpose of this position is to instruct in the Nursing Assistant Program in accordance with established policies and guidelines; teach 33 contact hours max per week in the field of Nursing Assistant Education including Nurse Aide I, Nurse Aide II, Medication Technician, and Medication Aide. This position maintains records of student attendance and performance, prepares class records, and assists in the recruitment of students within Nursing Assistant Education.
