Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)
1. Associate’s degree in Radiography with a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in Radiography (both from an accredited Radiography program);
2. Two years of full-time or equivalent work experience as an ARRT registered radiographer.
3. Verifiable ARRT certification and registration with ARRT for a minimum of two years: (R.T. (R.) (ARRT)

1. Master’s degree;
2. Experience teaching in an accredited radiography program;
3. Experience with ARRT clinical requirements;
4. Demonstrated proficiency in a foreign language and/or second language, including American Sign Language.
Position Description
Job Description Summary
This position provides instruction in Radiography and advising for students pursuing the Associate of Applied science in Radiography. This position provides all duties of a Radiation Safety Officer.
Duties
1. Teaches all levels of courses within the Radiography curriculum.
2. Maintains mastery of subject matter.
3. Stays current with emerging technologies in Radiology, including PACS and modalities.
4. Develops, prepares, and/or teaches courses for which the appropriate credential is held.
5. Teaches in various formats, various locations, and via various delivery methods.
6. Adheres to policies, procedures, expectations, and practices of the College, the department, and discipline.
7. Communicates clearly with students, other faculty, and staff.
8. Evaluates student progress in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.
9. Contributes to a safe and secure campus environment.
10. Enforces Code of Classroom Conduct and Code of Student Conduct.
11. Assists with program reviews, program accreditation, and SACSCOC accreditation as appropriate.
12. Attends meetings and events and actively participates in committees and task forces.
13. Attends the annual commencement ceremony.

17. Assists in the program application process
18. Assists in the development of information sessions, welcome sessions, and orientation for new students.
19. Establishes or upholds learning outcomes that are relevant and meaningful.
20. Completes required professional development annually.
21. Supports department stability and growth by monitoring the radiography climate state, nation, and worldwide.
22. Acts as a liaison between the student, clinical instructors, and/or clinical setting.
23. Assists in maintaining all students’ didactic and clinical records for accreditation purposes.
24. Participates in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities for program improvement.
25. Helps develop and participates in clinical instructor monthly meetings and training.
26. Participates in program handbook review, evaluation, and revisions as necessary.
27. Acts as faculty advisor for Radiography student organization.
28. Supervises, supports and evaluates adjunct clinical instructors in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.
29. Ensures consistency in clinical instructors’ instruction and evaluation of students.
30. Trains new clinical instructors as well as site clinical instructors.
31. Works in tandem with the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and was appointed Clinical Coordinator to facilitate clinical rotations.
32. Acts as Radiation Safety Officer for the program.
33. Oversees radiation protection measures for both faculty and students.
34. Maintains radiation protection monitoring reports and ensures dose threshold action plans are carried out.
35. Ensures program equipment and labs are in compliance with state and federal laws and recommendations.
36. Ensures the program follows the American Society of Radiologic Technologist curriculum as required by JRCERT.
37. Performs other duties as assigned.
