Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree in the field of Education from a regionally accredited institution is required. Experience working with community college and/or high school curricula is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, excellent oral and written communication skills, being a self-starter and team player, and the ability to work collaboratively with others to assist students, parents, faculty, staff, and the general public is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A National Career Readiness Certificate and bilingual are preferred.
Position Description
The Wayne Community College and Wayne Early Middle College High School (WCC/WEMCHS) Liaison serve under the direction of the Cooperative High Programs Coordinator and the WEMCHS Principal. The liaison meets the program’s needs of the early college high school by coordinating the use of college facilities, working with early college staff and faculty, and working with college staff and faculty concerning early college operations. The liaison collects and compiles high school data and participates in local and state-wide conferences. The liaison works closely with the high school administrative team as well as with college administration and Student Services in order to share information and resolve issues. The liaison performs other duties as assigned by the Cooperative High School Programs Coordinator and the Wayne Early Middle College High School Principal.
