Master’s Degree in Library Information Science from an ALA accredited institution required (completion of degree by December 2022). Current knowledge of library technologies and ILS systems required.
Library experience in an academic or community college setting preferred. Knowledge of and/or experience with Evergreen ILS or other open source library software preferred. Current knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, and Springshare products preferred.
The Librarian, under the supervision of the Vice President of Instruction /CAO is responsible for operation of the library during the evening hours; management of electronic library resources, services, and tools; and instruction and research services to select programs and departments within the college.
