Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma and Vocational diploma; or High School diploma and apprentice experience
- Three (3) years of commercial electrical experience
- Valid Driver’s License with a driving record in good standing
- Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentation and collaboration apps and software
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical license
- Five (5) years of commercial electrical experience
Position Description
- Install wiring and conduit systems for newly installed machines and equipment
- Replace bulbs and ballasts
- Run new circuits
- Pull telephone and computer wires
- Check and maintain all types of light fixtures and outlets
- Inventory and maintain stock of electrical items
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken parts, wiring or cables
- Assist other trades as necessary
- Operate different types of lifts to perform electrical work
- Operate a forklift, with training
- Subject to be on call for emergencies
- Assist with snow removal
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
