Qualifications: Five years of broad-based general maintenance work including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, boilers, chillers, and welding; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Experience with electric and hand tools.

Position Description
The incumbent will have the following duties & responsibilities:
- Participating in staff meetings called to expedite the business of the college.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Preventative Maintenance on all HVAC & plumbing equipment
- Make recommendations on HVAC repairs, meeting with vendors
- Electrical recommendations (repair or replace)
- Plumbing recommendations (repair or replace)
- Ceiling tiles, cover base and trim items as needed in the work process.
- Visits all off site campus performing PM, Inspections, and Repairs to items listed above.
- Painting as needed on the following but not limited to: offices, light poles, building surfaces.
- Move and assemble office equipment as needed (book cases, storage units, desks, etc.)
- Mount equipment and instructional devices to block, brick and sheetrock surfaces (towel dispensers, dry erase boards, first aid kits, etc.)
- Maintain training and certifications for work area, forklift
- Maintain valid driver’s license.
- Maintain HVAC EPA Universal license.
- Performance review contracts on PM’s for HVAC equipment.
- Complete work order as assigned in timely manner.
- Service log of painted areas, paint colors and type.
- Inventories of materials and tools.
- Ensure Compliance with any and all regulations including, but not limited to, the use of PPE, building codes, emergency codes, and OSHA standards.
- Ensures that all equipment is in safe and efficient working order and is accounted for and cared for with each use. Reports to security any equipment or supplies that cannot be accounted for.
