- Experience in training others in a workforce or classroom/lab setting.
- Willing to teach day or evening classes.
- Willing to earn NCCER certification within two months of employment.
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn.

Position Description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
The PT Millwright Instructor will prepare students for a successful career in industrial maintenance through instruction on: various millwright hand tools, fasteners and anchors, basic equipment layout, mechanical drawings, field sketching, craft-related mathematics, precision measuring tools, millwright power tools, setting baseplates and soleplates, rigging practices, gaskets and packing, O-rings and non-mechanical seals, bearings, and other areas as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: classroom instruction, delivery of project-based learning activities, assessment, examination and grading.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares and updates material/outlines.
- Provides traditional lecture and project-based learning activities.
- Prepares course objectives following industry standards and applicable requirements.
- Plans and documents a program of study that meets the needs and abilities of students.
- Provides instruction using handouts, texts, audiovisual, and project-based learning.
- Requires accurate attendance and timely end of course paperwork.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
