Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related field or proven experience as a Multimedia Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of multimedia projects.
  • Familiarity with web development tools and platforms.
  • Experience in web content management.
  • Experience in photography.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Position Description

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: The Multimedia Designer is a member of the Office of College Marketing and is under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications. This is a creative and versatile position. The Multimedia Designer will be proficient in various aspects of multimedia production, including photography, web design, graphic design, and videography. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and the ability to bring creative concepts to life across different mediums.

 

DUTIES:

Photography:

  • Capture high-quality photographs to be used in various marketing materials, social media platforms, and website content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually compelling images that align with the brand's messaging and goals.
  • Edit and retouch photos to ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.

 

Webmaster/Design:

  • Manage and update the company website, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and updates on the website.
  • Optimize website content for SEO to enhance online visibility and user experience.

 

Graphic Design:

  • Develop engaging and visually appealing graphics for both digital and print media, including social media graphics, brochures, posters, and advertisements.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute design projects that effectively communicate the brand's message.

 

Videography:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit videos for various purposes, including promotional videos, tutorials, and internal communications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative video techniques to enhance the visual storytelling of the brand.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure videos align with the overall brand strategy.

 

Multimedia Production:

  • Conceptualize and execute multimedia projects that integrate photography, web design, graphic design, and videography to create cohesive and compelling content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining the highest standard of quality.
