Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree required. Must know how to support an enterprise resource program such as Ellucian Colleague. Working knowledge of Unix and Windows Server support and administration required. Must have good technical knowledge of computing platforms and software.
Two to four years of relevant experience, preferably with some portion with Ellucian Colleague, Solaris Unix and Windows Server Operating Systems, is required. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to communicate well with staff at all levels, students, and the public.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. IT helpdesk experience preferred. A National Career Readiness Certificate (NCR) and bilingual are preferred.
Position Description
The Enterprise Resource Program Administrator will maintain enterprise business application servers and perform hardware and software maintenance operations. Responsibilities will include installation, configuration and support server hardware, software, and data backup and disaster recovery. The Enterprise Resource Program Administrator will provide application and operating system expertise and work closely with users and enterprise systems analysts to ensure closely coordinated requirements.
The Enterprise Resource Program Administrator will also serve as a team resource for other technical activities. The Enterprise Resource Program Administrator will ensure continuous and quality services through proactive methodologies and closely coordinated communications. Any and all changes or modifications to the application systems are fully documented and thoroughly tested and approved by IT leadership before going into production.
Applicant must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, sit extended periods of time at a computer work station, to climb ladders, and to crawl and stoop in limited space locations. Must be able to work in computer rooms with a temperature of 70 degrees or less or locations with no air conditioning and possible higher noise levels than in a regular office environment.
