Minimum Qualifications
Requires High School Diploma/Equivalency; valid driver’s license, ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds, read/follow blueprints and working knowledge of grounds, electrical/ HVAC and plumbing maintenance and repair.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree, two years facilities maintenance and electrical/HVAC license preferred.
Position Description
Perform tasks involving maintenance of buildings/grounds, mechanical, plumbing and electrical equipment; environmental and safety tasks including reporting or eliminating potentially hazardous conditions; responding to needed emergencies or alarms and coordinating necessary response until relieved by emergency personnel or campus administrator; and conducting monthly safety inspections on emergency equipment.
