Position Description
Manage, plan, implement, evaluate and supervise all skills, trades, computer, and related training programs and classes for Coastal’s service area. Provide leadership to ensure high quality relevant education that addresses the changing needs of our civilian and military populations. Schedule classes; hire and supervise Continuing Education instructors and staff; evaluate and improve program quality; advertise courses; administer logical class needs; budget for supplies, travel, and professional development; advise students; and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Associates Degree required, Bachelor degree or higher preferred. Supervisory experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with Excel and Word required. Experience teaching and supervising adult education programs, working with budgets, interfacing with the military and civilian workforce, and a background in or knowledge of the skilled trades, preferred. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Salary: Based on education and experience.
Start Date: October 14, 2019.
