Communication, both oral and written, and computer skills necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree
Teaching experience at a community college or four-year university.
Experience with Blackboard Learn™ or other learning management system.
Online teaching experience.

Announcement Summary
Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this full-time position Department Chair/Instructor position.
The Mammography curriculum provides registered radiologic technologists the didactic and clinical experience necessary to become registered mammographers. Course work includes clinical rotations at mammography facilities, breast anatomy/physiology, patient preparation/education, mammographic procedures, interventional procedures, image analysis, mammographic instrumentation, physics, quality control, and quality assurance.
The Radiography curriculum prepares the graduate to be a radiographer, a skilled health care professional who uses radiation to produce images of the human body. Course work includes clinical rotations to area health care facilities, radiographic exposure, image processing, radiographic procedures, physics, pathology, patient care and management, radiation protection, quality assurance, anatomy and physiology, and radiobiology.
Qualified candidates will possess excellent computer skills, demonstrate evidence of flexible work experiences and a willingness to change; be open-minded, fair, and possess the ability to see multiple perspectives; be willing to take and manage risks and accept responsibility for professional and personal growth.
Duties
Teach face-to-face, online, and blended Mammography courses to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus as needed by the Department.
Teach face-to-face, online, and blended Radiography courses to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus as needed by the Department.
Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of the Mammography Program.
Develop and maintain community relationships that support the mission of the school and the Mammography Program.
Provide input to the Dean of Health Technology Programs on departmental budget needs to include supplies, equipment, travel, and other costs.
Review new course materials including textbooks, software, etc.
Participate in student recruitment efforts and advisement for increase enrollment and retention.
Identify, interview, and select potential new faculty and provide initial department orientation and training to new hires.
Resolve student complaints in a fair and timely manner.
Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Participate in faculty committees and other activities, as assigned.
Complete all instructional responsibilities, as explained in the job description for instructional faculty.
