Position Description
The College and Career Readiness (CCR) program is accepting applications for instructors to teach literacy and math skills for adult learners seeking to improve their academic proficiency and earn a high school equivalency diploma. CCR classes are offered during both the daytime and evening. Specific responsibilities include planning, organizing, and developing lessons and units of instruction to help students improve functional and academic proficiency; providing language arts or math instruction for students in the CCR program; monitoring student growth throughout each instructional session; keeping necessary class records to document student attendance and progress. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institutional is required; a degree in education, English, math, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience is highly preferred.
Salary: Based on education and experience. 5 – 20 hours per week, depending on class schedule
