Part-time Logistic Coordinator in support of the Emergency Medical Services Program positions is available. The EMS program Logistic Coordinator schedule varies including daytime, evening, and weekends. This position reports directly to the Program Director, Emergency Medical Science and has the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Promotes College mission, values, and vision.
Participates in activities necessary to maintain program compliance with regulatory agencies.
Assists in the evaluation of new equipment and technology.
Attends appropriate College and Program meetings.
Assists in student recruitment and retention.
Participates in professional development to enhance maintenance of skills trainers and simulation manikins.
Schedules ambulance maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation of vehicles.
Monitors inventory and ordering of training supplies and equipment.
Maintains equipment for safe use providing small repairs where appropriate and facilitating outside repairs in coordination with the EMS Program Director.
Maintains inventory of supplies/equipment in storage room/labs including jump bags for class use and the check-out check-in log.
Coordinates movement of EMS supplies/equipment between the Davidson to Davie campuses.
Works collaboratively with instructors, staff, students, and external agencies.
Performs other tasks as assigned which support the mission and initiatives of the College.
