Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution, demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Database) and Google (Drive, email) applications and functions; strong organization, time management and written and verbal communication skills for professional, business, and consumer based environments and activities.

Position Description
Responsible for admissions activities for Health Sciences programs including academic counseling and monitoring student academic progress for admissions and retention in the programs; planning, coordinating and developing activities for the distribution of Health Sciences program information; department activities promoting efficient and effective program operations; be available evenings, weekends, and at off-campus locations as needed; demonstrating and modeling employability and professionalism skills by maintaining collaborative, respectful working and consumer-centered relationships.
- Maintain student files and confidentiality as required by admission, program, accreditation and college guidelines and in accordance with federal, state, institutional and program regulations.
- Inform eligible students on the admissions process for Health Sciences programs.
- Collaborate with program directors with monitoring student academic progress for program admission and retention.
- Coordinate and assist program directors, faculty and other College personnel with program admission testing for eligible students.
- Assist with organizing and coordinating Health Sciences program orientation/information sessions.
- Distribute information pertaining to program admissions, testing, and orientations to prospective and accepted students.
- Maintain, gather, and collaborate with program directors and faculty student related data for various governing agencies including, but not limited to, NCBON, CAPTE, MAERB and NAACLS.
- Assist faculty with registration and advising activities.
- Plan, coordinate and collaborate with program directors and public relations to maintain current Health Sciences program web page/s.
- Assist in the planning, organizing and information distribution of program advisory committee meetings and other departmental meetings and events as requested.
- Order and maintain office supplies for Health Sciences.
- Inform appropriate College personnel of all locations for activities scheduled by the department.
- Prepare, develop, and organize correspondence and documents for the program directors.
- Provide assistance with campus and department outreach activities as requested.
- Assist with switchboard relief.
- Participate in professional development activities provided by the College or other agencies to maintain currency in policy, procedure, and regulations.

- Meet the physical demands (with or without reasonable accommodations) of the Health Sciences Admissions Coordinator: ability to engage within the institutional environment for up to four (4) hours with minimal rest opportunity; visual and hearing acuity necessary to interact through various modes of communication including in-person, email, and other telecommunication systems; gross and fine motor abilities to perform required job functions within the office and College related activities; ability to travel as needed.
- Participate in professional development activities provided by NCC.
- Participate in College events and activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned which contribute to the efficient and effective operation of NCC.
- Serve on various committees as assigned.
- Participate in and support ongoing assessment, planning and evaluation to improve student learning.
