Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)
1. Must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Office Administration, Office Systems Technology, or a related field;
2. Must have a minimum of two years of part-time or equivalent work experience with Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers;
3. Must have experience with Ellucian Colleague or equivalent student information system.

1. Experience with online testing software;
2. Must have a minimum of two years of part-time or equivalent work experience in testing, admissions, enrollment, advisement, recruitment, counseling, financial aid, student activities, mentoring and/or a related area in an educational setting;
3. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.
Position Description
Job Description Summary
Proctor tests, maintain confidential records, enters placement data, monitor and maintain security equipment and software, communicate with faculty, staff and students regarding testing and accommodations.
Duties
1. Proctors/monitors on-campus and off-campus student tests, including A-B Tech tests and private company proctored testing.
Directs test completers to next step in the enrollment process.
2. Maintains the Testing Center in a manner reflecting the welcoming and inclusive values of the college.
3. Evaluates high school transcripts for English and math placement from high school GPA according to statewide NC Community
College placement guidelines.
4. Processes backfill placement requests for student records.
5. Evaluates High School Equivalency (HSE) completers for NC Community College placement.
6. Assists with NC Community College placement score entry in Colleague system.
7. Provides appropriate accommodations as identified by Support Services.
8. Maintains a comfortable, secure testing environment.
9. Troubleshoots hardware and software issues.
10. Communicates with faculty, staff, and students regarding testing and accommodations.
11. Helps maintain testing database and assists with reports and scheduling testing as needed.
12. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.
13. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
