Position Description
Assist students, faculty, and staff with software, hardware, network connection and internet issues by phone, email, in person, remotely, and any other method required. Utilize incident tracking system to record work requested, and completed.
Salary: $9.00 per hour.
Hours: Days and evening/night shifts, available. Some flexibility in scheduling around course schedules available for Coastal Carolina Community College students.
Start Date: October 1, 2021.
Closing Date: Open until filled.
After filling the current vacancy or vacancies, the College will continuously accept applications for part-time Help Desk Technicians, with applicants being contacted on an as-needed basis.
Minimum Qualifications
Successful completion of CIS 110 or CIS 115, required. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds. A+ certification, or an IT degree, preferred. The ability to navigate the College website, My CCCC, and Blackboard, preferred.
