Minimum Qualifications
Requires a minimum of Bachelor’s degree. Candidate should have an outgoing personality, be a self-starter, and be able to work in a team. Should possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field and at least two years' experience in a community college setting or in a public setting preferred.
Position Description
The purpose of this position is to advise high school students, parents, and community about Career Technical Education options in Person County. Assist with recruiting, scheduling, registration, and pathway education. Maintain records for enrollment, tracking, and reporting purposes. Determine industry needs, as well as textbook and supply needs. Work collaboratively with local middle schools to educate students on career path options by attending/hosting promotional events.
