Minimum Qualifications
Requires an Associate degree in Office System Technology or related field; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn and use Destiny One Short Term Workforce Development Business Solution.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years experience as administrative assistant/clerical experience preferred.
Position Description
Facilitate the work of the Public Safety and Human Services department and the Dean by performing administrative duties; scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel; filing and recordkeeping; preparing and proofreading correspondence reports. Type correspondence and other materials for the Dean of Public Safety and Human Services department; sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail; schedule and maintain a calendar of appointments, meetings, and other duties to be called to the attention of the Dean and faculty members; manage travel requests and reimbursements; prepare e-Procurement orders and purchase requisitions; maintain budget record keeping; type and process part-time contracts and payroll request forms; enter semester schedules in Colleague for curriculum and continuing education courses; assist and register students as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
