Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution
Experience Required:
- 3 years of Financial Aid office or Scholarship administration experience
Preferred Qualifications
Education Preferred:
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution
Experience Preferred:
- NC Community College experience
- Recent experience with Ellucian Colleague or similar enterprise information system
- Recent experience with Academic Works software
Position Description
The Scholarship Coordinator oversees the day-to-day management of all GTCC internal and external scholarships programs. The incumbent will be responsible for compliance with College, State and Federal regulations as they pertain to the scholarships and the awarding of the funds. The Scholarship Coordinator will counsel current and prospective students and parents in identifying internal and external scholarship opportunities and will conduct scholarship workshops. In consultation with the Director of Financial Aid, the incumbent will develop and present scholarship policies and procedures to the Administration.
