Minimum Qualifications
Required: Minimum of Associates Degree and one year of experience in scholarships and or higher education setting. Strong administrative, organizational and customer service skills; accounting experience; working knowledge of current office-related software, including work with databases, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred: Previous experience in a financial aid office and/or scholarship program; experience with Colleague software. Candidate should have proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty and staff, and be able to work independently.

Example of Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to: Coordinate the Foundation Scholarship software (AwardSpring); post, process, adjust and reconcile all scholarship awards; manage scholarship application process, advise students on Caution, Warning and Probation for Financial Aid in addition to financial aid counseling; review end of term SAP statuses; coordinate, reconcile and maintain records for the Child Care Grant and other State scholarship programs; coordinate and post outside scholarships including Golden Leaf and SECU People Helping People scholarship, coordinate the GEER scholarship for continuing ed and other continuing education scholarships, electronically process financial aid applications; maintain files; authorize payments of funds; reconcile expenditures and prepare reports; assist with reconciliation of State and Federal grants; complete reporting on state scholarships, maintain spread sheets and assist students with the financial aid process; and other duties as assigned.
