Proficient in Microsoft Office products (ex. Access and Excel).
Excellent computer and communication skills.

Experience with statistical software preferred.

Position Description
The purpose of this position is to direct and support the College’s survey assessments and learning outcomes processes; including but not limited to, general education competencies, student learning outcomes, and the reporting of results. This position is also responsible for the collection and reporting of data and/or research as it pertains to student success and student success initiatives including, but not limited to, The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct and provide guidance and support for the College’s assessment processes.
Provide training and support to curriculum faculty and staff on student learning outcomes assessment.
Update and maintain learning outcomes assessment guidelines.
Assist in setting baseline data, developing assessment measurement tools, and determining outcomes.
Electronically gather data from multiple sources (Datatel, LMS, surveys, etc).
Analyze results and report findings of learning outcomes and student success metrics.
Participate in the development and maintenance of evidence collected to document student learning.
Direct the implementation of the QEP, continuously assess outcomes related to the QEP, and develop the QEP Impact Report required by SACSCOC.
Supervision of part-time staff provided for survey and data support.
Related Responsibilities:
Perform other duties related to research, planning and assessment for the Office of Institutional Research and Planning. May serve on the Academic Review Board and/or other committees or boards as needed.
